Social media are constantly adding up more features, visual elements, and it seems like every day when you wake up, you see a new element or iteration being made to the social networks you are active, making you go back and figure out the right size of cover images, post images and align your social media marketing according to the latest set of changes.

Use your Facebook cover photo and newsfeed images to connect fans to your brand. Whether it’s an image of your recent blog post or one that promotes your business, make sure it represents your business.


  • Cover Photo: 820 x 312 pixels on computers
  • 640 x 360 pixels for phones
  • Profile Photo: 170 x 170 pixels on computers
  • 128 x 128 pixels on phones
  • Shared Image size: 1200 x 630 pixels
  • Link Image: 1230 x 627 pixels
  • For best result upload JPG file less than 100 KB
  • Image with a logo or text may be best as a PNG file
